The Clearaudio Unify is an extremely versatile high-quality pivoted tonearm.
Designed for use with a wide range of turntables and cartridges, it is available in three different lengths: the standard 9″” plus 10″”, 12″”. Its unique design is built around an extremely low friction unipivot sapphire bearing,which sits on top of a precision hardened steel spike.
This key feature, combined with the Unify’s high quality of construction and materials, ensures a world class sound. Further key features include:
An anti-magnetic die-cast metal bearing housing.
A woven carbon fibre arm tube constructed for exceptional rigidity.
Two-piece aluminum headshell with adjustable azimuth, allowing the accurate alignment of any cartridge type.
An eccentric counterweight, designed to lower the arm’s centre of gravity, giving improved dynamic tracking.
Extensive adjustments including VTA and easy anti-skating adjustment (via a thread and weight system) to position the stylus accurately within the record groove for the maximum information retrieval.
An unbroken run of Clearaudio’s own Sixstream cable which provides a continuous link without solder connections from the cartridge to phono plugs.
The Unify is supplied as standard with a Linn-type mount or can be used with the Clearaudio VTA-Lifter, which allows fine adjustment of VTA even during play.
